Neymar, the world’s most expensive football superstar, has been spotted playing one the world’s best-selling board games: Sequence from Goliath Games.

The famous Brazilian attacker was snapped enjoying some down time before the start of the new season as rumours continue to abound around his possible move away from PSG this Summer.

Designed to test a players’ strategic thinking, Sequence is an addictive game where players are challenged to create rows of chips based on the cards they hold. Players play a card from their hand, place a chip on a corresponding space on the game board and aim to get five in a line to make a Sequence. During gameplay, players can learn how to block their opponents and remove their chips. Jacks are wild and can be used against opponents.

In June, a travel version of the game arrived at WHSmith, along with travel versions of other Vivid Goliath games Floor is Lava Rock Rumble and Red Light, Green Light.
