PSG Faces This Challenge to Land AC Milan’s Rafael Leão

If Kylian Mbappé decides to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer transfer window, the capital club must find a replacement for his production. Two names have surfaced these last few days: Rafael Leão and Victor Osimhen.

Acquiring Osimhen poses challenges due to competing interests from Chelsea and Arsenal. Chelsea aims to bolster their striker options for the summer, while Arsenal is considering multiple avenues but inclining towards securing a top striker for the upcoming season.

PSG would face challenges should it pursue the AC Milan star, too. Foot Mercato reported on Monday that the Parisians’ sporting advisor, Luís Campos, is targeting Leão as a replacement for Mbappé this summer.

Leão’s focus isn’t on joining PSG; instead, he leans towards the Premier League or La Liga. Additionally, he prefers playing on the left wing rather than as a No. 9. Whether Paris will pursue him, especially with Bradley Barcola’s rise, is uncertain.

PSG might prioritize Osimhen to persuade him to choose them over a Premier League transfer if this report holds.
