West Ham launches bespoke beer

November 28, 2025

West Ham United has teamed up with BrewDog to launch a bespoke lager brewed exclusively for the football club’s fans.

The beer, ‘Claret & Brew’, will be available at the Bridge Two bar at London Stadium from 30 November. A limited-edition can of the drink will be available on BrewDog’s online store on 2 December.

It is 4.5% ABV and it’s described as having a rich malt flavour with hints of citrus and florals.

Former club player Carlton Cole assisted with the brewing process and will be serving up pints on launch day.

He said: “It was great to be involved with the making of ‘Claret & Brew’, I had to make sure to give it the West Ham seal of approval, I felt the pressure to make sure I got it right for the fans, but I knew I was the man for the job!

“It’s brilliant to have a dedicated West Ham United beer, and I know the Claret & Blue army will raise a Claret & Brew on Sunday at London Stadium. I look forward to pouring some pints for the fans ahead of the big game against Liverpool.”

BrewDog’s chief operating officer, Lauren Carrol added: “Claret & Brew has been brewed with the fans firmly in mind. A beer that honours West Ham’s colours, culture and incredible support. Collaborating with the club and Carlton Cole on something so unique has been a real privilege. We hope every Hammers fan enjoys raising a Claret & Brew as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

“The launch of a West Ham United beer is the latest collaboration with BrewDog, after the pair marked the launch of their partnership by giving away grassroots football kits to a whole host of teams across East London and Essex. This, as well as offering discounts in BrewDog bars to Club Season Ticket holders and hosting a fan party in their Atlanta location during the Premier League Summer Series.
