West Ham could appoint Graham Potter in next 24 hours
Graham Potter could be hired as West Ham United’s new manager before the close of play on Wednesday, according to Jack Rosser.
The Sun journalist posted on X (7 January) to report that after holding further “positive talks” with Potter on Tuesday, the Hammers could confirm the 49-year-old’s appointment within the next 24 hours.
Some details are still yet to be resolved regarding the Irons’ agreement with Potter, but as Julen Lopetegui teeters on the brink of the sack, the Spaniard’s replacement being confirmed is imminent.
Rosser said: “West Ham held positive talks with Potter today, still some details to be resolved but there could be an appointment tomorrow.”
Graham Potter appointment looks imminent at West Ham
It’s hardly surprising that, having seemingly settled on Potter as the man to replace Lopetegui in East London, the Hammers’ hierarchy are now wasting little time in rushing through his appointment.
