Warren Zaire-Emery Earns Interesting Comparison to This Bayern Munich Star

October 10, 2023

Although Warren Zaire-Emery is 17 years old, the football world is beginning to notice the talent that Paris Saint-Germain has on their hands. The midfielder has become a regular starter under Luis Enrique this 2023-24 season.

Furthermore, Zaire-Emery has registered back-to-back assists for PSG in the 4-1 loss to Newcastle United last week and the 3-1 win over Stade Rennais on Sunday. The upward trajectory is beginning to grab the attention of people who don’t follow PSG.

Zaire-Emery is under contract until 2025, but the Ligue 1 giants are already working behind the scenes to ensure a contract extension. PSG wants the midfielder to be the face of this new project, which is steering away from the superstar and Hollywood FC label.

If the former PSG youth product continues to play at this level, it will be interesting to see whether he gets a call-up for the 2024 UEFA Euros and plays in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
