Villarreal beat Getafe to end La Liga losing streak

Samuel Chukwueze has scored and assisted as Villarreal came from behind to defeat relegation-threatened Getafe 2-1 and end a four-game losing streak in the Spanish league.
The Nigeria international scored in the 44th minute before setting up Jose Luis Morales for the matchwinner shortly after the break, after Enes Unal had put the visitors ahead early on.
The win moved Villarreal to seventh place in La Liga, closer to the European places.
Villarreal’s last win came in January against Girona.
They have lost to Rayo Vallecano, last-placed Elche, Barcelona and Mallorca since then, being outscored 9-3.
Getafe could have left the relegation zone with a win, but stayed second-to-last, two points adrift of safety.
