Thiago Motta’s wife responds to Juventus sacking with motivational message

Thiago Motta’s wife has responded to Juventus sacking the coach by posting a motivational message on social media.

The announcement came this afternoon that Motta had been dismissed, replaced for the rest of the season by Igor Tudor.

The coach was informed by telephone, because he is currently in Portugal for some family time during the break for international duty.

A few minutes after the statement was released by the club, Motta’s wife Angela Lee Motta, posted an Instagram Story with a motivational message in Portuguese.

“The disappointment of today can be the blessing of tomorrow. Life always works towards readjustments,” read the message.

“What does not happen today is teaching you, it is making you stronger and preparing you for what is truly yours.

“Allow yourself to be sad, but do not lose your faith in life and certainty in better days, because those will be the days that allow you to keep going and not give up.

“Many wonderful things are waiting for you, and you will be grateful for having believed in yourself and in life!”

Thiago Motta had only been appointed to the Juventus bench over the summer after walking away from his role at Bologna.
