Serhou Guirassy could become a bargain in the summer transfer window
Borussia Dortmund face a serious risk of losing Serhou Guirassy next summer, with Sky Germany reporting that his release clause will decrease.
During the summer, a select group of Europe’s top clubs could have signed Serhou Guirassy for an estimated €60–75 million, thanks to a release clause in his contract.
The clause wasn’t activated, and Guirassy remained at Dortmund, but speculation about his future is likely to return ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window.
According to Sky Germany, the clause will be active again next summer – but notably, it will drop to a significantly lower fee, which could make it difficult for Dortmund to keep the Guinea international.
Barcelona are reportedly among the clubs keeping an eye on Guirassy, with head coach Hansi Flick said to be a big admirer of the striker.
Other top clubs are also expected to enter the race, particularly given the release clause situation.
