Ronald Araujo’s agent breaks silence on Barcelona defender’s future and confirms Juventus offer

The defender could be on the move

Ronald Araujo’s agent, Andres Espinosa, has spoken out about the defender’s situation at Barcelona amid speculation he could move to Juventus this winter.

The Serie A side are said to be really keen to land the Uruguay international after being hit with injuries to their backline.

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Araujo is “seriously considering” leaving Barcelona after struggling for minutes since returning from injury.

Araujo’s agent has now offered the following update and says he has received several offers for the center-back already.

“Ronald has already received several offers this month, including from Juventus. However, he has not made a final decision because he has given priority to Barcelona,” he said via Foot Mercato.

Premier League side Arsenal have also been linked with Araujo, and it’s been claimed the defender would prefer to move to the Premier League.

However, it still remains to be seen what will happen next and whether Araujo will move on or stick with Barcelona for the time being at least.
