Real Madrid make unexpected Kylian Mbappe decision

November 9, 2023

Real Madrid are building a squad full of some of the best young talents from across the world. Players like Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Endrick and many others are expected to lead the club and continue bringing success to Santiago Bernabeu for years to come.

With the departure of Karim Benzema, Real Madrid are left without a long-term starting number 9. The club have brought in Joselu from Espanyol on a season-long loan deal. However, he is not the man to lead the line for Los Blancos for the foreseeable future.

A number of world-class strikers have been linked with Real Madrid in the past, but there is one name that always comes up. We are of course talking about Kylian Mbappe. While fans seem to be somewhat split when it comes to a potential move for the French World Cup winner, the club seem to have made up their mind on where they stand on the matter.

As reported by Cadena SER (via MARCA), Real Madrid have already ruled out signing Mbappe. Los Blancos are no longer considering signing the Frenchman.

Real Madrid make unexpected Mbappe decision

Mbappe left a bitter taste in the mouths of many Real Madrid fans after he made an unexpected U-turn and extended his contract at PSG last year. That deal was a short one though and runs out next summer.

Mbappe would be available to start negotiations over a pre-contract with clubs from January as he would be a free agent in the summer. Unless he ends up extending with PSG once again.

The Mbappe to Real Madrid saga has been dragging on for close to three years now and some fans are understandably getting tired of the constant rumours and speculation. Let’s see if the club have indeed decided to close the door on any future move.
