Rangers in parking warning to fans ahead of Champions League qualifier
The Scottish Premiership side will face Greek team Panathinaikos at home on July 22 in the first leg of the UEFA tie.
Ahead of the match, the Ibrox club has advised fans of a change to parking arrangements at the stadium.
It comes following the closure of a ‘significant’ section of the nearby Albion car park.
A statement published to Rangers X [formerly Twitter] account reads: “Supporters attending tomorrow’s [[UEFA]] Champions League qualifier are advised of a change to parking arrangements at Ibrox Stadium following the closure of a significant proportion of the Albion Car Park.”
Access to all car parks at Ibrox is only available to those who have been sent a QR code in advance.
Supporters can no longer buy entry on the day.
Parking restrictions will remain in place on many streets near Ibrox Stadium, while street parking beyond the restricted areas is ‘likely to be busier than normal’.
Where possible, fans are being encouraged to use public transport when attending matches.
