PSV Eindhoven’s Paul Wanner not thinking about Bayern Munich buyback option

When Bayern Munich sold Paul Wanner to PSV Eindhoven over the summer, it was a chance for a fresh start for a youngster who desperately needed a reboot.

While the Bavarians secured a buyback option on Wanner, do not expect the attacker to think about a return trip to Bavaria any time soon.

“I don’t know the details, and I’m not thinking about that at all right now. The focus is on PSV. Training and playing matches here. This was the perfect step for me,“ Wanner told Eindhovens Dagblad.

Wanner has not made a massive impression with PSV Eindhoven thus far, but still has lofty potential. At some point, though, that potential will have to be realized or he could end up being just another academy product who was just not good enough.
