Paul Pogba in tears after suffering injury in first Juventus start of the season

Paul Pogba was reduced to tears after hobbling off with yet another injury in his first start of the season for Juventus.

The French midfielder has endured an injury-plagued 2022/23 campaign at Juve – his first season back at the club since re-joining as a free agent last summer – managing just 151 minutes of competitive football.

Pogba’s been forced to miss time due to a myriad of injuries, the biggest being a knee injury which the midfielder was eventually forced to have surgery on after initially opting against going under the knife.

After an impressive cameo in the Europa League on Thursday, Pogba made is first start of the season for La Vecchia Signora on Sunday evening against Cremonese. After just 24 minutes of play however, the former Manchester United man went down with an injury and was eventually forced off the pitch in tears.
