Palmeiras closing in on €25m deal for Barcelona loanee Vitor Roque

There’s hope a transfer can be finalized

Palmeiras are reportedly getting closer to completing a deal for Vitor Roque before the transfer window closes in Brazil at the end of the month.

According to reports in Spain and Brazil, there is growing optimism that an agreement can be reaching between Barca, Betis, Palmeiras and the player to head back to his homeland.

The plan, as things stand, is for Vitor Roque to move in a deal worth 25 million euros, for 80% of his economic rights.

The youngster will then become the highest-paid player in the Palmeiras squad as he brings an end to a brief stay in Europe with Barca and Betis.

Vitor Roque’s move will be good news for Barcelona, as he’s clearly not in the club’s plans for the future and the transfer will be a welcome financial boost.

Hansi Flick had very little to say about Vitor Roque when quizzed about the Brazilian at the weekend and the youngster’s Barca nightmare may be about to be over.
