‘Only United is in his head’ – Reds press to agree deal to sign £11million play breaker
Manchester United must sign a top class play breaker in the summer transfer window and may end up getting Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina again.
As per today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, the headline states ‘Amrabat returns but only United is in his head’.
After last season’s loan spell, Man Utd had the option to permanently sign the Moroccan international for 20 million euros but they opted not to.
CorSport claim that after three hundred and thirty-four days, Amrabat, will once again step foot in the Viola Park but he wants to return to Old Trafford.
At the moment, the Atlas Lions star is waiting for someone to knock on the door to get him out of Fiorentina.
The 27-year-old is linked with clubs in Turkey and in Spain, Atletico are interested, but the most valid option is to return to Manchester United.
It is stated that Man Utd are pressing to agree yet another loan deal for Amrabat, however, this time around, Fiorentina would like to ‘end the relationship’ once and for all with a permanent transfer.
Reports in Italy have indicated that the Viola are now looking for a fee of £11million (13 million euros) to sell the former Eredivisie play breaker.
Last term, Amrabat made 30 appearances in all competitions for Man Utd, but only managed to start on 17 occasions under Erik ten Hag.
In the final days of the season, he moved ahead of Casemiro in the pecking order and proved to be top class as United won the FA Cup against Man City.
In your view, should Man Utd agree another loan deal to bring Amrabat back?
