NAPOLI NEARING MOVE FOR SALZBURG DEFENDER OUMAR SOLET
Napoli are making progress in a move for Salzburg defender Oumar Solet, who could join the club this month.
The Partenopei haven’t faced much luck in their move for a centre-back, with talks for Nehuen Perez not progressing and they missed out on Radu Dragusin, who is a Tottenham player already.
Il Mattino report that with Cyril Ngonge’s move to be made official today, a move for Solet is edging closer. The move could actually be only hours away, claims the report. In France too, it has been reported that an agreement is only a step away, with Salzburg initially having asked for €20 million to sell the 23-year-old French defender.
€20 million is actually the total price of Ngonge, with Verona expected to pay 10 percent of the fee to Groningen, which is where they signed the Belgian from. The expectation is that the 23-year-old will act as an alternative to Matteo Politano, who has impressed this season but continues to get linked with a move away from the Maradona.
