Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo agrees personal terms with Barcelona
Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo wants to move to Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that Cancelo has already personal terms with Barcelona. Barca head coach Xavi personally wants to bring the Portugal international full-back to Camp Nou this summer.
Romano has claimed that Barcelona and Manchester City are now locked in talks over the structure of the deal for Cancelo. The Portugal international spent the second half of last season on loan at Bayern Munich after falling out with City manager Pep Guardiola.
Cancelo is one of the best full-backs in the world and is able to play at right-back or left-back. The City star can also operate as a wing-back. Barcelona will be determined to win the La Liga title yet again next season and will also be keen on making an impact in the UEFA Champions League.
