Leo wants an annual salary of 7 million euros
According to “Gazzetta dello Sport” reporter Carlo Pellegatti, Leo wants an annual salary of 7 million euros and hopes that Milan will help him repay the debt he owes to Sporting in full.
According to reports, Leo refused to join Chelsea this summer and chose to stay in Milan. He immediately proved his worth with his outstanding performance, but correspondingly, Leo’s requirements for renewal of the annual salary are also getting higher and higher.
There is a 19 million euro dispute between Leo and Sporting, and Lille and Leo will each bear half of the compensation. Previously, Milan proposed that they could immediately help to repay half of the indemnity paid by Leo, but the premise was that Leo could renew his contract with the club for 5 years and make certain concessions in terms of annual salary.
But in recent weeks, Leo and his agent Mendes have been clear. They hope that Milan can help to pay Portugal Sport the full amount of compensation that they should have assumed, and his annual salary requirement for renewal has also changed from the original 6 million euros to the current 7 million euros.
