Leeds United linked with Southampton striker Che Adams
Leeds United are interested in signing Che Adams from Premier League rivals Southampton in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that the West Yorkshire club are among a number of clubs who are willing to make a move for Adams at the end of the season if the Saints get relegated to the Championship.
Adams has made 19 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Southampton so far this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the process. The 26-year-old Scottish striker has also scored five goals in five Carabao Cup matches and has played twice in the FA Cup so far this campaign.
Leeds are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 22 points from 25 matches, level on points with third-from-bottom Everton, who have played 26 games. Meanwhile, Southampton currently find themselves second from bottom in the standings with 21 points from 25 matches.
