Leandro Paredes joins AS Roma

August 16, 2023

After spending a season on loan at Juventus, Leandro Paredes has completed a permanent move to AS Roma.

The Argentine midfielder made his professional debut for Boca Juniors in 2010, before heading to Italy where he played with Chievo, AS Roma and Empoli.

Signed by Zenit St Petersburg in 2017, he quickly became a key member of that side, scoring 10 goals in 61 matches.

In January 2019, Leandro Paredes joined Paris Saint-Germain. In four seasons, he made 117 appearances for the club from the French capital, including the 2020 UEFA Champions League final, winning three Ligue 1 championships, two Coupes de France, one Coupe de la Ligue and two Trophées des Champions.

In the 2022-23 campaign, he returned to Italy and a season-long loan at Juventus, playing 35 matches in all competitions, scoring once and providing one assist. Above all, he was crowned world champions with Argentina in Qatar in December 2022.

Paris Saint-Germain wishes Leandro every success in his new colours.
