‘Lamine Yamal is a big danger’ – Jules Kounde sends warning to France ahead of Euro 2024 clash
Jules Kounde has warned his France team-mates that Lamine Yamal will pose a huge threat to their Euro 2024 hopes ahead of the two teams’ semi-final clash.
Yamal has been enjoying a great tournament with the Spain team who have looked the strongest side so far in Germany.
They now take on France next, with Kounde happy to praise his Barca team-mate ahead of the game.
“Lamine is a big part of the danger of the Spanish national team, but I would say that the biggest danger is the team as a whole,” he told reporters.
“He is incredible. I think to have had a season like his at such a young age and with all the expectations and pressure that he has, it’s really incredible.”
Yet Kounde is also having a good tournament and has been chatting about why he’s thriving with Les Bleus.
“Like the team, I am very good in this tournament. I feel comfortable because I have the confidence of the coach and my teammates,” he said.“
“I feel good about this team and in this system. That’s why I always try to do my best and, so far, things are going really well for me.”
France and Spain meet on Tuesday at the Allianz Arena, with the winners set to face England or the Netherlands in the final.
