Trent Alexander-Arnold was booed by some Liverpool fans after his departure was confirmed ahead of his move to Real Madrid

Jurgen Klopp has made it clear what he expects from Liverpool fans when Trent Alexander-Arnold returns to Anfield. Many Reds supporters were left upset that the 26-year-old allowed his contract to run down before joining Real Madrid.

He was booed by some during his final few appearances for the club with which he won two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup, among other honours.

The England international has had a difficult start to life in Spain. After being pitched into a battle with Dani Carvajal for the right-back berth in Xabi Alonso’s side, Alexander-Arnold has suffered an injury which initially raised doubts over his availability for Real’s Champions League showdown at Anfield on November 4.
