Jude Bellingham makes superb claim about Real Madrid

The first glimpses of Carlo Ancelotti’s new-look Real Madrid team have pleased the club’s supporters for the most part. They won their first-team pre-season friendlies against AC Milan and Manchester United, respectively. The third game did not prove as successful though, as Barcelona got a 3-0 win in the El Clasico.

One major addition to the Real Madrid squad this summer has been that of Jude Bellingham. Several of the top Premier League clubs were looking for the midfielder’s signature. However, he ultimately decided to make the move to the Spanish capital.

It could have been an easy decision, considering the level of interest in him. But it looks like it is paying off already, as Bellingham has made a bright start to life in the Royal White jersey. He even scored a fantastic goal against Manchester United.

Bellingham recognises the size of the club and is not getting carried away by his positive start. As reported by the Independent, he said after scoring his first goal for Real Madrid:

“Madrid is the biggest team in the world, I think it’s the best club, the best players, the best people to learn from.

“I’m here and I’m really happy with the start, but I’m not getting carried away. I want to get into a rhythm and enjoy playing with my teammates.”

It is still early days but Bellingham appears to have settled in quite well at Real Madrid. And it is not just his displays on the pitch.

If rumours are to be believed then the Real Madrid dressing room have been impressed with Bellingham’s attitude since coming in as well. He seems like someone determined to make his stint in the Spanish capital a major success.

Bellingham has no doubt impressed Real Madrid fans with his performances so far in this pre-season. Even in the loss to Barcelona, he appeared to be one of the better players on the pitch and on another day, could have found his name on the scoresheet.

Overlook, Bellingham looks like a great addition to this midfield. The 4-4-2 diamond formation, which Carlo Ancelotti has used, seems to get the best out of his qualities as well.
