Jobe Bellingham form prompts internal talks at Dortmund with shock transfer links reported
Reports in Germany suggest Jobe Bellingham’s impact is being debated at Dortmund amid surprise interest and loan claims emerging
Jobe Bellingham’s form at Borussia Dortmund is reportedly the subject of internal debate in Germany following his high-profile move from Sunderland last summer.
The midfielder joined Dortmund in a deal worth around €30million, approximately £27million with add-ons, after a breakthrough season on Wearside, which made him one of the most sought-after young players in Europe during last summer’s window.
Dortmund are said to be holding discussions over the 20-year-old’s impact so far. The report claims that while Bellingham has looked composed on the ball and rarely makes errors, there is a belief he may be playing too safely, with calls for more dynamism, risk-taking and forward intent. His excellent passing accuracy is noted as both a strength and a sign that he is not yet carrying the attacking threat expected of him.
