Jamal Musiala hopes Celtic’s Nicolas Kuhn makes German team

Bayern Munich superstar Jamal Musiala has expressed his joy at former teammate Nicolas Kuhn’s progress for Celtic, as the two prepare to face off again in the Champions League tomorrow night.
The 21-year-old has been in tremendous form for the German giants this season, scoring 15 goals and assisting a further eight in all competitions. He and his side lead 2-1 on aggregate following last Wednesday’s first leg at Celtic Park.
Speaking ahead of the second leg at the Allianz Arena tomorrow night Tuesday, the former Chelsea youth player said: “He (Kuhn) played really well against us – I played a couple of games when I was 16, when he was still at the club.
“He was a big character already then, and we spoke then played games together. I’m happy to see him doing well.”
On Kuhn’s international prospects with his native Germany, 38-times-capped Musiala said: “I think anything is possible.
“Julian Nagelsmann (Germany manager) has plenty of players to choose from – it’s a decision for Julian to make.”
Kuhn spent two years in Bayern Munich’s academy, following his spell at Ajax in the Netherlands. Prior to that, he spent time at RB Leipzig, Hannover 96 and FC St Pauli.
