Jamal Musiala “extremely happy” with Bayern Munich extension

Musiala will be in Munich for the next five years.
On Friday, Bayern Munich continued its hot streak on the financial side of the business by locking up superstar Jamal Musiala for the rest of the decade. The German attacker turns 22 this month and Bayern expect him to the face of the club for the foreseeable future. While negotiations were tough, no one is more excited than Musiala to shift the focus back to the pitch.
“It took time, but I’m extremely happy that it’s done,” said Musiala (via @iMiaSanMia). “Now for me it’s about taking steps forward year by year, achieving a lot with the team and continuing to grow together. The last 4-5 years here have been really nice. I feel really good here with the team, the coaching staff and also the fans. I’m looking forward to the coming years, where we will hopefully be able to achieve a lot.”
After locking up Alphonso Davies a couple weeks ago, Bayern also want to secure a deal with Joshua Kimmich in the near future. Once the summer hits, the club will look to improve the roster with younger but more affordable players.
