Jadon Sancho receives nightmare transfer ‘update’ as he returns to Manchester United

One of Jadon Sancho’s next dream transfer options after leaving Manchester United appears to be in jeopardy after Borussia Dortmund confirmed that he is not seen as a priority.
Sancho’s fallout with Erik ten Hag in September 2023 sparked the beginning of the end for the winger at United. This season, he spent the entirety of the campaign at Chelsea despite claims he had buried the hatchet with the Dutchman.
The winger would burn all remaining bridges at United earlier this year when he claimed Marcus Rashford was ‘free’ of the club’s shackles having joined Aston Villa on loan. Unfortunately for Sancho, that is not the case for him at present.
Despite Chelsea agreeing an obligation to buy Sancho for £25m this summer, the club and player were unable to reach an agreement on personal terms.
Therefore, the Blues were forced to pay a £5m penalty fee to United, and Sancho has since returned to Old Trafford.
It is understood there is little in the way of hope that Sancho will play for the Reds again, and now it is in both his and his parent club’s interest to find a new home for the winger.
