Inter Milan’s Brozovic is injured, will miss the games against Roma and Barcelona
In the 8th round of Serie A, Roma will take on Inter Milan away.
The bad news for the Nerazzurri is that midfielder Brozovic will miss the game due to injury.
During the international break, Croatia beat Austria 3-1 in the Nations League.
However, Croatian player Brozovic left the field with an injury in the 17th minute of the game.
The 29-year-old was then examined at St. Catherine’s Specialist Hospital in Zagreb.
Tests showed Brozovic had a mild strain in his left leg muscle.
The player will return to Inter within hours to be examined by the club’s medical staff.
The player is expected to recover from injury for three to four weeks and miss six to seven games, including against Roma and Barcelona.
The Croatian team issued a statement on this: MRI results showed a partial tear in the left thigh flexor, so Brozovic is expected to rest for several weeks. Excellent Inter doctors will carry out further treatment.
Against Roma, Inter coach Inzaghi may choose Aslani, who joined this summer, to replace Brozovic.
