How Much Is Bayern Munich Willing to Spend to Land AC Milan’s Mike Maignan
Paris Saint-Germain may seek a new goalkeeper during this summer’s transfer window. Despite Gianluigi Donnarumma’s proficiency in goalkeeping, manager Luis Enrique might be inclined towards a goalkeeper with specific traits aligning with his preferences.
The 24-year-old’s contract expires in 2026. Thus, should the capital club decide to part ways, it can attract a substantial transfer fee from potential suitors. Regarding PSG’s possible replacement for Donnarumma, they have set their sights on AC Milan’s Mike Maignan.
Nonetheless, pursuing Maignan will present challenges as another top European club is keen on securing the Frenchman in a few months. According to Tuttosport (h/t Le10Sport), the goal for Bayern Munich would be to make Maignan the successor to Manuel Neuer.
The outlet reports that the Bundesliga club is ready to spend €80 million to secure its goalkeeping position for the foreseeable future. Bayern Munich could fully respond to Maignan’s salary demands. He reportedly wants AC Milan to offer him an annual income similar to that of Rafael Leão, which is €7 million per year.
