Fulham FC confirms ‘record sponsorship deal’ alongside SBOTOP

June 29, 2023

Fulham Football Club has appointed online casino and sports betting operator SBOTOP as front of shirt sponsor and a principal partner in a “record sponsorship deal” for the 2023/24 season.

The positioning on the side’s shirts, which is noted as playing “an integral part” in keeping the club competitive, will be combined with in-stadia advertising as the brand looks to leverage the Premier League’s global audience.

“We are delighted and excited to bring our two ‘premier brands’ together,” noted Bill Mummery, SBOTOP Chief Executive Officer.

“Jointly, we look forward to increasing both our brands’ awareness on a truly global platform in the coming seasons. I wish Fulham an enjoyable and rewarding trip to the USA.”

This arrangement will see the men’s first team kit and sleeves of training shirts feature the SBOTOP logo, with the Craven Cottage-based outfit to launch its kit for the upcoming season tomorrow (Friday 30 June).

Fulham will officially debut the attire during pre-season, which also sees the club take to the pitch in the Americas as part of a Premier League Summer Series. Games will take place versus Brentforn in Philadelphia, Aston Villa in Orlando and finally in Maryland against Chelsea.

Jon Don-Carolis, Fulham FC Commercial Director, added: “We are pleased to welcome SBOTOP as our front of shirt partner as we continue our exciting journey in the Premier League.

“The coveted front of shirt sponsorship plays an integral part in keeping the club competitive through significant revenue, and we look forward to celebrating continued success in 2023/24.”

This becomes the latest link-up between an English top flight side and the industry, which comes ahead of a voluntary withdrawal gambling sponsorships from the front of matchday shirts entering into effect from the 2026/27 season.

This has seen Burnley team-up with W88, Aston Villa align with BK8 and Newcastle United disclose a multi-year arrangement with Fun88, while Chelsea have been linked with a short-term Stake deal.
