Whites stalwart’s value outlined amid Boro speculation
Having already lost one right-back in this window, Leeds United could be set to lose another with Luke Ayling being linked with a switch to rivals Middlesbrough. Ayling has struggled for appearances under Daniel Farke with the once Leeds stalwart not featuring in the club’s last 11 league matches.
However, despite the speculation, Farke has stated that no one has asked to leave the club since the window opened earlier this month. Speaking at his press conference prior to the club’s FA Cup fixture with Peterborough United he said: “I am not interested; I share quite often my appreciation of Luke and what I think about him and his value for us. I’m not going to comment on rumours. Each and every day there is a player connected with us.”
