Bayern Munich sets price on Noussair Mazraoui

Bayern Munich has set its price tag on right-back Noussair Mazraoui, according to a report from Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg:

The 26 y/o right-back under contract until 2026. He’s top professional despite the difficult situation.

Mazraoui with a good market and many inquiries. But there are no concrete offers yet. Bayern will listen to all suitable offers.

It is difficult to see why Bayern wants such a player to be moved on. But the former Ajax talent and Morocco star, who arrived in Munich on a free transfer, might be viewed as a transfer profit if he leaves now for market value. And the Bavarians have already spent some €30M on his potential replacement, Sacha Boey.

Mazraoui flashed at times for Bayern but, in part due to injuries, did not lock down a clear spot in the XI amid competition from the likes of Benjamin Pavard and Joshua Kimmich. Now it looks like new head coach Vincent Kompany will go in a different direction.
