Bayern Munich has the money to make any move it wants in January
According to a report from kicker journalist Georg Holzner (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is financially equipped to do whatever it needs to do during the winter transfer window.
However, some positions are being prioritized by the club, which could push off some rumored acquisitions until the summer:
Any potential deals this month will not fall through for financial reasons. If the club is 100% convinced of the player’s quality, the people in charge would be ready to dig deep into their pockets.
January transfers are linked to the club’s plans for the summer. Therefore, loan deals until the end of the season are also being considered. A new No. 6 like João Palhinha is not the top priority at the moment as the central midfield spots could be reassessed at the end of the season. Right-back and center-back are the most urgent positions to fill this month.
With some names already being bandied out (Eric Dier, Nordi Mukiele), Bayern Munich is definitely testing the waters to see what will be feasible during this window.
