Bayern Munich had strong contingent of youngsters in training

August 11, 2026

FC Bayern has some good talent in its pipeline.

Bayern Munich continued to provide opportunities for some of its brightest young talents as eight youth players trained with the first team at Säbener Straße today.

The group included Cassiano Kiala, David Santos Daiber, Bastian Assomo, Maycon Cardozo, Filip Pavić, Tim Binder, Guido Della Rovere and Wisdom Mike per Bild.

While training with the senior squad does not necessarily mean that any of the players are immediately on the verge of breaking into Vincent Kompany’s matchday squad, these opportunities are important for their development. Working alongside established first-team players allows Bayern Munich’s prospects to experience the intensity, expectations and standards required at the highest level.

It also gives Kompany and his coaching staff an opportunity to evaluate players from the club’s youth ranks in a first-team environment. Bayern Munich has made developing its own talent an important part of its long-term strategy, and these training opportunities can be an important step in that process.
