Bayern improve their offer to Alphonso Davies, Real Madrid’s offer not as good -report
Bayern Munich have decided to improve their offer to extend Alphonso Davies’ contract with the German club up to €10 million/year, according to a report published today on MARCA. Davies’ contract expires in 2025 and he was reportedly keen on leaving Bayern knowing that Real Madrid were interested in his signing, but the offer from Los Blancos will not match Bayern’s proposed salary, per that same report. It’s important to note that Real Madrid’s reported offer is not official yet, as they’re not allowed to enter official negotiations for Davies.
Once again, Davies will have to prioritize playing for Real Madrid rather than getting a big contract. It happened with Aurelien Tchouameni and Jude Bellingham over the past few years, as the two midfielders rejected big offers from Premier League clubs in order to play for Real Madrid.
Is Davies rejects Bayern’s new offer, Real Madrid will try to sign him in the summer of 2024 for an affordable price knowing that the German club will try to avoid losing him as a free agent in 2025.
