Forward Ademola Lookman is determine to join Inter Milan this summer, even in spite of a big contract extension offer from Atalanta.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera. They report that Atalanta have offered the Nigerian €5 million net per season, more than Inter are offering him.

Inter Milan are pushing to wrap up a deal for Atalanta forward for Ademola Lookman.

Meanwhile, the desire of the player himself is also key. Lookman has been pushing for the move to Inter from the start.

But as the Corriere della Sera note, Atalanta have done all they can to try to convince Lookman to stay.

Having already lost striker Mateo Retegui this summer, La Dea do not want to lose hold of their other attacking talisman.

According to the Corriere della Sera, Atalanta have offered Lookman a contract extension. This would be worth €5 million net per season.

For their part, Inter have reportedly agreed terms on a deal worth around €4 million net per season with Lookman.

However, the newspaper report, the 27-year-old would be willing to accept Inter’s lower offer.
