Atalanta progress in De Ketelaere talks
Atalanta are reportedly very close to resolving the issues they had with Charles De Ketelaere’s agents so he can complete the transfer from Milan.
The two clubs had reached a full agreement on the move, which is a loan for €3m with option to buy for a further €23m plus €4m in bonuses.
However, the situation came crashing to a halt over personal terms and commissions requested by his representatives, which prompted Atalanta to slam the brakes.
There was also said to be interest from several other clubs that he would like to consider, including Lens and PSV Eindhoven.
According to Sportitalia and La Gazzetta dello Sport, a meeting today proved positive and Atalanta are now much closer to working out the final details of the move.
If all goes according to plan, De Ketelaere should be able to have his medical with the Bergamo side at the start of next week.
