Aston Villa are interested in signing Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the Premier League club have opened talks in regard to bring the winger from the La Liga outfit.

Villa have opened talks with Athletic over Williams, according to the report, which has added that Arsenal are also keen on the 20-year-old winger and are keeping close tabs on the situation. Manchester City and Newcastle United have also enquired about the Spain international in recent months.

Williams made 32 starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga for Bilbao this past season, scoring six goals and providing four assists in the process. The 20-year-old also made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Copa del Rey this past campaign, scoring three goals in the process.
