ARDA GÜLER SENDS MESSAGE OF THANKS TO REAL MADRID HEAD COACH ANCELOTTI

Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler has sent a message of thanks the way of head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

As much, of course, comes fresh off a night to remember for Güler on Friday.

Afforded his first-ever La Liga start in a heavily-rotated Real Madrid XI, the young Turk proved himself match-winner in the club’s meeting with Real Sociedad.

This came courtesy of a fine finish just inside the half-hour mark, which ultimately proved to be the telling moment in a hard-fought affair at Anoeta.

Speaking to the media on the back of an evening which will no doubt live long in the memory for Güler, the 19-year-old, in turn, made use of the opportunity to publicly thank his manager.

The relationship between Güler and Carlo Ancelotti has of course proven a headline talking point in Spain’s capital across the season, amid claims of the former becoming altogether frustrated with the lack of game-time afforded to him to date.

If the latest comments laid out by the midfield prodigy are anything to go by, though, all appears to be well between the pair:

“First of all I would like to congratulate my teammates, and thank Carlo Ancelotti for giving me the opportunity. I’m very happy to have scored today and to have won.”
