AC Milan Might Have Interest in Loan Deal for PSG Flop
Paris Saint-Germain’s latest UEFA Champions League Round of 16 exit has resulted in plenty of rumors regarding who will exit the squad this upcoming summer transfer window.
Renato Sanches was one of four midfielders that sporting advisor Luis Camps brought last year, but it could be one and done for the Portugal international. L’Equipe (h/t Sempre Milan) reported that PSG could allow Sanches to leave and AC Milan might be a destination.
However, there’s a catch, the Italian club might not be keen on purchasing the player outright. Instead, a loan deal might entice Milan, who were in on the player last summer but opted to reunite with his former manager Christophe Galtier with PSG paying a €15 million fee to Lille OSC.
After a challenging 2022-23 season, perhaps heading to Italian football might be what Sanches needs to get his career back on track which appeared to be heading in the right direction during his time at Lille.
The 25-year-old could be inclined to take a possible loan opportunity since Campos might be revamping the midfield again and he might be the odd man left out.
