Ivan Gazidis: Former Arsenal chief to leave AC Milan

Ivan Gazidis will leave his role as AC Milan’s chief executive next month.

Gazidis, who held the same position at Arsenal for almost a decade, joined the Italian side in 2018 and helped oversee their Serie A triumph last season.

The South African was diagnosed with throat cancer last year but returned to work after treatment.

Gazidis said in a statement: “After four wonderful, challenging years I will be leaving Milan.

“I owe so much to this club, its people, its fans and to this city, that literally saved my life”.
