Napoli Join Long List of Suitors for Atalanta Loanee

December 3, 2025

Despite a few attempts over the years, Napoli continue to have a gaping hole on the right wing behind Giovanni Di Lorenzo and have taken an interest in Marco Palestra for the future. Considering their sudden injury-related needs, they are more likely to pursue him next summer than in January.

The Atalanta loanee, who’s thriving at Cagliari, has become the top name on their shortlist, leapfrogging Janlu Sanchez. On the other hand, the queue of suitors is long. La Dea has yet to decide what to do with him.

Napoli, Juventus, Milan, and Inter are all after Palestra, and his price tag is skyrocketing. The Bergamaschi turned down €15M from Rennes two years ago and €20M from the Bianconeri last summer before the wingback blossomed. If he keeps up the good work, it’d take a €35/40M disbursement to add him.

On the other hand, Atalanta might simply decide to keep him for at least one campaign. They are already headed toward a busy summer in the outgoing direction, considering the uncertain future of Ademola Lookman and Ederson. They probably won’t need to cash in on further players.
