Leeds United want to sign Shea Charles as triple transfer update drops at Elland Road

June 9, 2025

Leeds United are set for a busy window and could sanction a swoop for Shea Charles.

Daniel Farke is looking for quality options to help his side in their Premier League survival bid next season after earning promotion.

It promises to be a tough task for the Elland Road outfit, and there is a significant amount of business to be done before a ball is kicked.

Leeds are looking to avoid the same embarrassing feats as Southampton, but could raid them first.

Leeds pushing for Charles amid triple transfer swoop
The 49ers need to back their manager with several signings if they have any chance of the Yorkshire side staying up.

Charles would be a great addition for Leeds
Charles proved his quality on loan at Sheffield Wednesday from the Saints this season, where he featured 43 times in the second tier in an impressive personal campaign.

At just 21 years old, he won the Owls’ Player of the Year award and notched one goal and five assists as they finished 12th in the Championship.

The former Manchester City youngster is a fully-fledged Northern Ireland international with 26 caps and could be ready to make the step up if he is given the opportunity.

Meanwhile, Longstaff is an extremely experienced top-flight operator, with 171 appearances in the competition, so he would bring valuable know-how that Farke’s side is currently lacking.

Bijol may be the most intriguing out of all three potential additions, as he has starred in Serie A with Udinese for several years and made an impression on the wider footballing audience at Euro 2024.

The Peacocks must get their business right this summer, and signing all three of those players would be a great start as they offer a lovely blend of experience and potential, which could be the difference in the LS11 outfit remaining as a top-tier club or going back down to the Championship.
