West Ham star Mohammed Kudus produced disappointing display in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Brentford

West Ham United slumped to a disappointing 1-0 loss to Brentford on Saturday at the London Stadium.

Graham Potter has endured an incredibly difficult start to his reign at the Hammers, winning just one of his six matches in charge.

West Ham were expected to pick up maximum points in front of their home crowd against the Bees, who have been in patchy form over the past few months.

However, the Irons conceded a goal within the opening four minutes, with Kevin Schade racing clear to score at his second attempt after Alphonse Areola denied him the first time.

West Ham were fortunate to only be a goal down at the break as Thomas Frank’s side twice came very close to doubling their advantage.

The hosts improved in the second-half but couldn’t find an equaliser as Brentford held on to claim all three points.
