Blackburn Rovers host Premier League side Wolves this weekend with hope of progressing to the next round of the FA Cup.

Blackburn Rovers will be looking to get back to winning ways after a disappointing result in the league last time out.

Rovers fell short against a flying QPR side, but they remain 5th in the Championship table with play-offs the target.

Wolves sit 17th in the top flight. They are still in a relegation battle, although they are probably the favourites to survive as things stand.

After three straight Premier League losses, they pulled off a great home win over Aston Villa last weekend. This cup outing provides the chance for them to build some momentum for the league.

“Blackburn Rovers will back themselves going into this one. Wolves are fragile and a strong start from the hosts could rattle them.

“John Eustace’s side are enjoying a majorly positive season, but with other clubs beginning to pick up ground on them it’s crucial they find some form again soon.

“The visitors have had a tough run as of late and a more ‘winnable’ game will be welcomed. At their best Wolves are a very good side and one that should easily dismiss of most Championship outfits.

“Wolves may not particularly care about the cup given their league position, but I can still see them winning this one in a routine fashion.”
