With the score between Barcelona and Valencia standing at 6-1 with just under 15 minutes left, Barca head coach Hansi Flick wanted to give Gavi a runout, having named him on the bench. But Gavi told the coach it would be better if the minutes went to Pablo Torre, who hadn’t played in La Liga since November.
