Sky Sport Italia claims that Victor Osimhen is finalising an agreement with Saudi side Al-Ahli, who will pay Napoli €80m plus add-ons.

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says that the Nigerian striker’s agent is discussing the final details of the deal.

Osimhen will sign a four-year deal worth €40m per season, while Napoli will get €80m plus bonuses, way less than the €130m clause included in the striker’s contract.

Di Marzio adds that Al-Ahli will also include a release clause in Osimhen’s new deal.

The 25-year-old, the best Serie A goal scorer in 2022-23, wanted to remain in Europe and had previously held talks with Chelsea and PSG.

Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, reiterated earlier this week that his client wanted to continue playing in Europe. However, Chelsea’s latest proposal was nowhere near Napoli and Osimhen’s demands, so the Nigerian ace is now on his way to the Saudi Pro League.
