PSG now ready to try and beat Chelsea to the signing of ‘talented’ £20m attacker this summer
Chelsea could miss out on a signing to Luis Enrique and Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The Blues currently have Cole Palmer, Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling as attacking options.
However, that has not stopped them from being linked with other offensive players.
They may need to get a move on if they want to sign one attacker from Ligue 1, though, with PSG reportedly circling.
Whoever Chelsea bring in this summer could end up playing under former Brighton & Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi. According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, he is one name on the Blues’ shortlist to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea interested in same attacker
A transfer tussle between two of Europe’s biggest clubs could break out this summer it seems.
French outlet Jeunes Footeux has claimed that PSG are ready to try and beat Chelsea to Rayan Cherki‘s signature.
With Cherki’s contract expiring next year, the attacking midfielder could be sold for a low price in the upcoming transfer window.
According to Jeunes Footeux, Cherki may be available for around €24m (£20m).
The 20-year-old was not productive in front of goal this season, netting just once in 33 Ligue 1 appearances.
