Tottenham and Bayern Munich Enter Race to Battle PSG for French Wonderkid

Stade Rennais star Désiré Doué is expected to be highly sought after this summer. Arsenal, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs reportedly showing interest in the talented Frenchman.

However, the are new clubs seeking to land the 18-year-old, who is under contract with Rennes until 2026. As a result, the Ligue 1 side could secure a prominent fee for the youngster this summer, with a number of top European clubs rumored to have an interest in the player. 

According to journalist Abdellah Boulma, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund are also eyeing the player, so PSG face stiff competition to keep the youngster in France. 

All these suitors might explain why a recent report reveals that Manchester United have held initial talks with the representatives of the Rennes wonderkid. 

Moreover, the report reveals that a formal offer might be made in the next few weeks. The teenager made 43 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and registering six assists this 2023-24 season.
