MILAN DEFENSIVE OUTCAST MARCO PELLEGRINO TO BE SENT OUT ON LOAN
Following a troublesome first half of the season since arriving to Milan from Atlético Platense over the summer, the Rossonerri have ultimately decided to loan out Argentinian defender Marco Pellegrino for the remainder of the 2023/24 term.
Since arriving from the south-American outfits for a fee of €3.5m, the 21 year-old has only made a single appearance under coach Stefano Pioli thus far across all competitions
As a result, the Milanese club have reached a decision to send the promising defender on a loan spell in order to gain experience further his development as a player.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports, via MilanNews, that Italian sides Verona, Sampdoria, and Salernitana are all keen on acquiring Pellegrino’s services on a short-term loan. While out for supper this evening, the young-starlet has selected the Granata as his preferred club and is waiting for the green light from Salernitana director Walter Sabatini.
